You’re Not Welcome Here!

“You’re not welcome here, don’t come back!” the receptionist told me when I asked to use the toilet at Milton Keynes Community Foundation. Outside I was organising a public demonstration opposing their facilitating the abortion of 34 babies per week.

Guests at Christian Guild Holidays hotel have also had an unchristian welcome. But the link goes deeper than manners because the Director of Christian Guild Holidays is also a Milton Keynes Community Foundation Trustee!

The person in question is Middlesbrough-born John Moffoot, who, ironically, the Queen honoured with an MBE for his services to young people. But let’s not forget that Our Defender of The Faith, Her Majesty Elizabeth II, gave Royal Assent to The Abortion Act 1967, causing the death of 10 million children.

Safe For All?

Christian Guild is the trading name of Methodist Guild Holidays Limited. They describe themselves as a multi-denominational holiday organisation offering guests “fun, faith and fellowship with a truly Christian flavour”. Their website boasts they “exist to provide Christian Holidays for everyone who is a Christian, seeking to find Christ, or is in sympathy with the Christian faith. Our Christian commitment manifests itself in fellowship and friendship, which are an integral part of our Christian Guild Holidays. We believe that our Christian ethos is essential to promoting a safe environment for all”.

And as if to push home the point that they are genuinely for Christ, their website adds — “prayers are held every day and a special time of praise and thanksgiving on Sunday evenings”.

As an Abolitionist speaking on behalf of the 34 unborn babies whose lives ended most brutally inside the building where John Moffoot acts as Trustee, I have some questions for him. First, why hasn’t the Christian Guild ethos of “promoting a safe environment for all” been applied to the Community Foundation? Second, why hasn’t John moved his fellow trustees and CEO Ian Revell to terminate the tenancy of the on-site abortion business? Thirdly, why would he want to be associated with MK Community Foundation, which also proudly funds Brook, which gives children contraceptives and abortion referrals?

Abortion: Voices Magazine Silent!

John Moffoot is also a Trustee of Milton Keynes Mission Partnership [now known as Churches Together in Milton Keynes]. This ecumenical group is led in prayer and worship by a Catholic priest — Father James Cassidy. Their stated objective, apart from Interfaith, contemplative prayer and Feminist Workshops: is to “seek to transform unjust structures of society.” Some years ago, I told them of the child murder at MK Community Foundation’s Acorn House HQ. Acorn House is 100 meters from one of their churches: Christ The Cornerstone. I tried advertising my pro-life prayer meeting in their church magazine: Voices. A female ‘Minister’ refused. She wrote that an advert praying against abortion would likely upset their congregation. She misquotes The Bible with “God’s ways are not our ways” in her refusal email. I wonder how many babies have died due to these ecumenical churches refusing to “upset” their congregation and address this evil of child sacrifice. I want to remind this ‘Minister’ that Proverbs 31: 8–9 commands: Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

God’s View

Milton Keynes Councillor Andrew Geary describes Christian Guild Holidays John Moffoot as

“a nice guy, a decent man with a sense of right and wrong, and doesn’t shy away from giving difficult advice and news to Milton Keynes councillors. Myself included.”

So let us pray that John will not “shy away” and that he’ll direct MK Community Foundation to end their ungodly ways. If not, he should renounce his trustee post in sympathy with the innocent lives lost at Acorn House.

I urge all Milton Keynes Community Foundation employees to heed the precedent that The Bible gives us in the book of Numbers, chapter 16. I quote from the Authorised Version: And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.

Here we have God instructing us, as He does many times throughout The Bible, to separate from the ungodly lest God destroys us with them!
So let’s come out of Catholicism, Ecumenism, Interfaith, Feminism, and Child Sacrifice and have the good manners to embrace God’s ways, act upon them, and avoid destruction!
